“So who is B Dash AKA B-Hamp and where did he come from? Brandon Hampton is an artist that has been grinding in the industry for 4 years searching for someone to take notice of his God given talents. After joining the group Texas Made, he became a critical part in the success of the song “Two Piece”, a street classic that was featured on a number of fight tapes throughout the south. After the group separated in 2006, B-Hamp started looking for avenues to release his debut solo album.
After recording a number of songs for his album B-Hamp was still actively looking for something that would get him into the homes of the masses and one night while watching Talladega Nights with some friends that song was born. After playing around with a concept and a dance long time friend and producer Youngstar quickly started working on a track. The song was “Do The Ricky Bobby” and it was here that the dance craze began.
With the song quickly being played throughout the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Georgia CKB entertainment CEO Rickey Booker seems to think that B-Hamp is the one. “I think we have something special here” says Booker with a confident smile on his face. “It’s been a long time since I have been a part of something that has taken off so fast”.

Behind this great talent is a sound independent label. CKB Entertainment is a label with structure formed in honor and memory of Cassandra Kaye Booker. Cassandra was killed in the Alfred P. Murray Federal Building Bombing on April 19, 1995 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In her honor, CKB strives to move in excellence as it paves the way for new artist. It is this structure that has allowed B-Hamp to move this far and the same structure is expected to take him to the top of the charts where he belongs.
This is just the beginning of what is to come from this sensational lyricist. B-Hamp was very excited to announce that he and his management company, Cold Frunt, have gone into a marketing deal with Big Tex Marketing and he decided to wear Rockport shoes during all his performances. His new song “Do the Ricky Bobby” is getting about 300 spins a week throughout 5 states and his performance schedule is starting to fill up very quickly. “I’m just staying humble and going with the flow.” says B-Hamp as he sits back stage at an event with Ricky Smiley, “The shoe deal was exciting when I found out about it and when I got the shoes all I could say was, “That’s Real!”
Now, after signing to Oklahoma and Texas based power label CKB Entertainment, B-Hamp is preparing to be what’s next in the music industry.
