Queen_AishahComedienne, actress, radio personality and philanthropist. From the “Brick City” known as Newark, New Jersey, this young and vivacious personality began what would later become a steady and fast-paced rising comedic career. Queen Aishah’s journey and life training as a comedienne, which lead to her heartfelt motto of “touching and healing souls through the art of laughter,” began as a youth, with her maternal grandfather and her comic-filled family. While Aishah’s initial exposure to public appearances began in the 11th grade under the tutorial of a special teacher affectionately known as Brother Dunbar, Aishah’s professional career as a standup comedienne began at the former renowned restaurant and lounge, Mr. Henry’s in Washington, DC; an establishment also graced by the appearances of celebrity comedians, Martin Lawrence and Dave Chappelle.

To her plethora of mass media credits, this 3X Apollo TKO winner is best known for her on-air innovative characters, Ms. Chlyam-edium (the Uno Card Reader) and PHAT Peaches. Both of these characters had a significant place on the Big Phat Morning Show on 92Q-WERQ in Baltimore, Maryland and XM’s, The City with Sexy Chocolate, radio programs. Further on-air appearances included the syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show with Olivia Fox, Washington, DC and The Olivia Fox Morning Show on 95.7 The BEAT, Tampa, Florida.

Queen’s wit, love of life and laughter earned her a requested impromptu appearance on the top-rated, award-winning Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004. During the November taping of the “Million Dollar Wedding,” Queen Aishah started out as an audience member, as she took a break from her self-titled tour. Once given an opportunity to make a humorous inquiry with the show’s producer, Aishah’s candor quickly caused the producer to invite her to the stage to fill her hand with a microphone. Queen Aishah left Oprah’s audience wanting for more.

Featured in Verizon’s Communications, Inc. television, radio and print DSL campaign, Aishah served as Verizon’s representative during the 2006 Essence Music Festival in Houston, Texas during which she shared the stage with acclaimed comedians, Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer. Other comedian’s Queen Aishah has worked with includes Michael Colyar, Bruce Bruce and Ricky Smiley. Williams and a host of other remarkable personalities.

Queen Aishah’s philanthropic activities include volunteering as a mentor and event host for the Baltimore, Maryland production company, Womb Work Production – NuWorld Art Ensemble; an organization with a mission to empower families through creative art, dance and theatre. Aishah also lends her talent to the Michael Walton Foundation as a guest speaker during its school age tour of inspiration, entitled “The Michael Walton Foundation Speak out to Reach Out Tour.” In between performing for the U.S. Military in Japan and Korea, Queen expresses her love for children each year at the Marine Corp.Toys-4-Tots event for disadvantaged young people living in the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC areas. Using her company, QA Enterprises, LLC, Queen coordinated comedy events and raised funds for Hurricane Katrina’s displaced families of which she personally delivered such donations directly.

Understanding the POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD, Queen Aishah lives her life to empower others through the gift of laughter while displaying a very real example of how extra ordinary one’s life can be when one’s passion is tied to one’s purpose.
